How to Wear Spring Shoe Trends for UNDER $35!

Spring Shoe Trends

Spring is upon us…FINALLY! As the warmer weather approaches in my part of the country, I feel like I get an awakening when it comes to fashion. Suddenly I find myself purchasing more clothing and shoes simply because spring and summer fashion excites me! If you have read any of my previous fashion posts you may have picked up on the fact that I am a 25% splurge, 75% save type of customer. When it comes to trendy pieces, I often find myself not spending as much money and I definitely made out this season!

The Shoe Trends I’m Loving

Espadrilles: I have been an espadrille lover since way back in my high school days. I’ll never forget my first pair, a pair that I snagged from Steve Madden. I love the nautical, casual, yet stylish look that an espadrille gives any outfit. This style screams nice weather and I scored two pairs for under $30!

First up are these stunning canvas espadrille platform sneakers. I fell in love with how lightweight they were and their gorgeous cream color. I have seen so many of these styles of shoe for almost $100 so finding these at under $30 was a steal! Snag a pair of your own by clicking HERE!

The second pair of espadrilles that I picked up were these beautiful blush sandals. Something about spring and summer makes me want to buy every shoe I see that comes in blush. Such a feminine silhouette on this shoe and talk about comfort! These were under $30 and can be worn with dresses, shorts, jeans, just about anything! Check these out by clicking HERE!

Slides: Mules and slides are my go to each time the weather gets warm. There is the more sophisticated mule sandal with it’s leather detail and stunning hardware, then there is the more casual house slipper slide. I came upon these while I was getting ready to leave the shoe aisle and they truly spoke to me. They spoke silly, fun, comfort and at only $6 could I leave them behind?! Why, of course not!

I mean, c’mon!! These needed to come home with me 😃 They are incredibly lightweight, an adorable pink color and most importantly, super comfortable! I have been wearing them around the house to replace my winter weather UGG slippers and for under $6 I am feeling like I need them in black now too 😉 These can only be found in store at your local Walmart (probably because at this price they would all sell out online!).

Woven Sandals: Each year I find myself wearing woven sandals to everything from backyard BBQ’s to brunch. Depending on heel height and comfort, the woven look is so versatile that you can pair it with just about anything. I have a few shoes in this style and in doing some Spring cleaning and donating some of those, I thought this was the perfect time to restock starting with these cute affordable pair!

The beautiful cognac color and chunky heel sealed the deal for me. Oh, and did I mention they were only $23! 😱 They’re at just the right height that I know I could wear these all day with zero problems. For someone who loves heels, I hate discomfort and will quickly change into flats the second I am in pain. I have a zero pain tolerance when it comes to shoes, why am I going to do that to my poor little feet?! 🤷🏽‍♀️ lol These are a win in my book!👍🏽

Slip on Shoes: This trend has been around for a while. I never felt like it fit me, after all, I am petite. I always felt like the slip on sneaker made me look foot “heavy”, if that makes sense lol When I spotted these and saw that they had memory foam inside, I had to try them on.

As a preschool teacher, I am on my feet all day with my little ones so comfort is key and I knew that these would work within my school dress code so I thought they were worth a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and durable they felt! I like that they are perforated so that I can feel the circulation inside the foot bed. They come in a few staple colors like blush (pictured but actually more of a true blush color), black, and white. I tested them out today at work and no blisters, only comfort! thumbs up👍🏽 Get yourself a pair of these for only $15 by clicking HERE!
