That special time of year has come, some of us call it the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, others call it Christmas in July because that’s just how it feels! This was my first year shopping the sale and I can already see what I have been missing out on. When I realized that these things were at such a great markdown for a limited time, things that I would normally be buying anyway, I jumped right on the idea of these savings. Let me explain how it works, every year, once a year, Nordstrom let’s us get a sneak peek at some new pieces of their upcoming Fall collection. They give us access to a bunch of things at a markdown but only for a few short weeks. After the event ends, those same pieces that you just bought for a markdown go right back up to regular price! These are not sale or clearance items, most of them are absolutely new pieces that will be sold in the store for the entire season! Now do you see why it was imperative that I wake up at 3 am EST to ensure that I was able to get everything on my wishlist? 🙂
